Canadian Blackened Death
Plaguebringer is a blackened death metal band based out of Western Canada. Starting in 2013, Plaguebringer sought out to create music that captured the darkness of Victorian gothic literature, while showing off each member’s technical mastery of their instruments. Plaguebringer’s influences cover a wide range of subgenres of metal including deathcore, technical death metal, black metal, and melodic death metal. Over their ten-year career, Plaguebringer has independently released 3 EPs and 1 full length album, independently funded 3 multi-week tours, received one government grant, and organically gained a significant following in the metal community.

Latest Release
“The EP, to me, is easily the band’s most dynamic, mature, and engaging release yet. Excellent mixing and mastering from The Grid in Montreal, Canada further showcases Plaguebringer’s ability to create and release music that stands alongside their influences. A song like “A Perilous Path to Ruin” evokes some Lamb of God comparisons, especially to more atmospheric songs like “King Me”.” - Landon Turlock
